Turn camera RAW photos into JPG files for sharing, websites and uploads. Convert supported formats together in one batch, free, with no signup or watermark.
Your photo may end in .arw, .nef, .cr2, .cr3 or .dng. These are different members of the RAW family. Upload the file with its original extension; you do not need to rename it or convert it to DNG first. This RAW image converter groups the supported formats in one place, so you can make JPG copies without choosing a separate tool for each file type. The format links below show which extensions this entry accepts.
The converter first tries to extract the image already embedded in the RAW file. If none can be extracted, it attempts to decode the RAW data using the recorded camera white balance and saves a JPG. The embedded image can have fewer pixels than the full photograph, so check the downloaded dimensions before printing or cropping heavily. A smaller JPG file size alone does not tell you its resolution.
Use the JPG when a message, website or upload form needs a standard image. Keep the RAW file for later exposure, colour and white-balance adjustments. This page uses the stored preview or its own RAW decoding process; it does not apply Lightroom catalogue edits or sidecar files. To share a version you have already edited, export it from the editor where you made those changes.
